Easy conversion between unit systems and unit types
One of the main features of NammiNamm Recipes is the unit and system converter function. When creating a recipe you can enter any unit you want, be it a volume unit or a weight unit and then have it automatically translated into a metric or imperial weight and volume unit.

Say you entered an ingredient using grams, you could have it displayed in imperial volume only units, in which case the system would translate how much the material you are using weighs and how much volume that would take up, giving you either fluid ounces, cups, pints, whichever fits best for the ingredient. The same can be done with metric units. In short, any volume or weight unit in any system can be translated into any volume or weight unit in any other system.

NammiNamm Includes:

Seamlessly swap between metric and imperial unit systems. Easily change unit systems
NammiNamm Recipes lets you easily change between the metric and imperial unit system. All your ingredient units are automatically changed to their metric/imperial counterparts, such as ounces and pounds versus liters and kilos and back again. This also applies to temperatures. You can enter in either fahrenheits or celcius and then switch between the two as you need.

Easily switch between volume and weight units in both metric and imperial. Change between volume and weight
Because all the raw materials in the NammiNamm material database have information about how much a specific volume weighs, you can always change weight units to volume units and back again. This means that you can change a recipe that is specified for example in grams, into cups, table spoons and so on by a click of a button.

The program has 5 built in unit modes; original (units appear as they were originally entered), metric all volume based (only uses metric volume units such as deciliters, liters etc.), imperial all volume based (only uses imperial volume units such as cups, fluid ounces and so on) as well as metric weight and volume based (liquids use metric volume units and solids use metric weight units) and imperial weight and volume based (liquids use imperial volume units and solids use imperial weight units).
