Word of the Day Mailing Lists
Interested in learning Icelandic or German? Sign up for a Word of the Day Mailing list and receive a new word every day. The words are picked by a native Icelandic speaker (Ágúst Karlsson, coincidentally the creator of snjohus.com). Ágúst is currently living in Cologne (Köln), Germany. Icelandic, like German and English, is a Germanic language; you might be surprised by many of the similar sounding words.

Signing up is easy, just enter your email and hit the "Sign up!" button. You can unsubscribe from the mailing lists any time you want, a special unsubscribe link is included in every email sent.

Make sure to add wordoftheday@snjohus.com to your email white list (or else it might get blocked by over-productive spam filters).
